What happens if I don’t pay?

Modified on Mon, 15 Jul at 3:21 PM

If you don't pay your PayLater installment on time, here is what could happen:

1- Late payment penalty: If you don’t pay on time, you will be charged a penalty, the proceeds of which will be donated to a charity. A penalty of QAR 50 may be added to the total outstanding amount, with the late payment penalty being donated to charity.
2- Impact on Credit Score: Defaulting on payments can negatively affect your credit score, making it harder to obtain credit in the future.
3- Account Suspension: PayLater may suspend your account or limit access to their services until outstanding payments are resolved.
4- Legal Action: In severe cases of non-payment, PayLater may resort to legal action to recover the outstanding debt.

It's crucial to communicate with PayLater if you're facing difficulties with payments. Options for alternative payment arrangements can be explored on a case-to-case basis to help manage your financial obligations effectively.
